About Sophie

Hi, I’m Sophie, originally from Leiden, the founder of Sensually Connected and your Dutch BPE instructor.

I found the world of sensual empowerment over three years ago and it has completely transformed my life. At first I was really taken by the unapologeticness of it all, of living your life without shame for your bigness.

Over time I have realized that the connection to yourself and to your power is so much deeper and stronger.

This last year I was able to overcome burn-out and I was able to step out of an incredibly destructive cycle that I was in for years. This was possible because I was connected to myself through sensual movement. I overcame one of the hardest challenge of my life because of my sensually connectedness.

This year I’ve decided to create my business Sensually Connected to share the transformation in my life to other women and change their lives.

In this same year I’ve decided to become a Certified Licensed BPE Instructor and started changing the lives of women all over the Netherlands. I’m the first BPE instructor in Europe (first of many ofcourse). Becoming a BPE instructor has been so transformative, it has made me incorporate all of our teachings into my lifestyle. It has connected me to women all over the world with the same mission, inspiring each other to rise as women and create this global movement.
